A movie, also called a film or motion picture, is a series of still or moving images. It is produced by recording photographic images with cameras, or by creating images using animation techniques or visual effects. The process of filmmaking has developed into an art form and industry.

Movies are the best and most famous source of entertainment. Some movies make us laugh, some are the cliché romantics, some keep us sitting on the edge of our seat. Some just make us smile, not because they were funny, but may be because they just touched that one string of your life and made you realize how beautiful life is. These kinds of movies inspire you, make you laugh and cry at the same time, and at the end of it all, make you feel great about yourself. I call them 'feel good movies' 'coz they just cheer you up no matter how hard your day was, or elevates your mood even if you just watching it for pure entertainment. They are the ones you can watch over and over again, and not get bored at all. Whoa!! I m already feeling good writing about it.
Top 5 Feel Good Movies
It's a Wonderful Life
Released in 1946, a classic, and based on the short story "The Greatest Gift", written by Phillip Van Doren Stem, starting James Stewart and Donna Reed. It's the damnedest thing ever seen. A beautiful story about how precious life is and it's only important to make every moment memorable. Not all get a chance to live again like George (James Stewart) in the movie. Cheers to our lives!!
The Pursuit of Happyness
The film Stars Will Smith as a homeless salesman turned stockbroker; released in 2006, directed by Gabriele Muccino, and based on the life of Chris Gardner. Every emotion is beautifully portrayed, and overwhelming is the little kid's performance in the movie. It instills "if you want success you have to go all out even if it hurts". It's all about believing if you can do it, you definitely can and there is nothing that can stop you then. One of my absolutely all time favorite feel good movie.
Field of Dreams
Another classic, the main theme of the movie is baseball, but you are bond to like the movie even though you may be a non baseball fan. Released in 1989, starting Kevin Costner and Amy Madigan, this is definitely a must watch. Life is just not worth living if you don't have the power of your dreams. It's about trusting your instincts and pursuing them. The movie makes you nostalgic and reminds you of all the good things once, and that they could be again.
When Harry Met Sally...
Released in the year 1989, a romantic-comedy written by Nora Ephron, and stars Billy Crystal as Harry and Meg Ryan as Sally. I cannot stop talking about this movie, I watch it every time I feel low and it never fails to cheer me.
